Common questions
Yes. Since Tidal doesn't provide a public now-playing API, we use Last.fm scrobbling. You need to connect your Tidal account to Last.fm (free) and provide your Last.fm username and API key during activation. Last.fm scrobbling typically updates within a few seconds.
Technically yes — the widget listens to Last.fm scrobbles, so it works with any service that scrobbles to Last.fm (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.). However, it was specifically designed and optimized for Tidal users who lack native streaming overlays.
Yes! Your widget URL works on any device and any browser source. Since it's web-based, you can add the same URL to your stream setup on multiple machines — it will always show what's currently playing on your Last.fm account.
Visit your dashboard at /dashboard?token=YOUR_TOKEN, update your Last.fm username in the settings panel, and save. Your widget URL stays the same — only the data source changes.
